At approximately 2:00am on Sunday 13 April 2026, reports were received of an unidentified person trying car door handles in the local area.

It has since been confirmed that one vehicle was accessed, however no damage has been reported and nothing has been confirmed as stolen. This appears to be an opportunistic attempt targeting unlocked vehicles.

🔐 Please help reduce the risk by:

Locking your vehicle every time you leave it, including when parked at home

Removing valuables and personal items from view

Parking in well‑lit areas where possible

Checking any private CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage between 02:00am and 03:00am

📹 If you have any information or relevant footage, please report it to the police, quoting the date and time.
